How many years has it been now . . . somewhere around 200?

( I couldn't find an attribute for this image when I posted it, but I have since found it's owner.)

If you go to Etsy, you will find a shop called ButterTogether
belonging to a very talented Kim Keitner
She offers an assortment of sweet greeting cards with hand drawn designs.

27 Years Ago I Married My Best Friend . . .

He is not only my husband and lover, he is my rock, my confidant, my partner in crime, my biggest fan, and I can't imagine my life without him.

Twenty-Five Years, and You're Still Here.

The words that echo in my mind today are not the immortal words of some classic love poem,
but the the simple words of a humble bear:

"If you live to be 100,
I hope I live to be 100 minus 1 day,
so I never have to live without you."

 - Winnie the Pooh

Happy Anniversary Sweety. It seems like only yesterday . . .

Wow! Twenty-Four Years.

It's hard to remember a time
when you weren't here with me.
A Ditty
- Sir Philip Sidney

My true-love hath my heart, and I have his,
By just exchange one to the other given:
I hold his dear, and mine he cannot miss,
There never was a better bargain driven:
My true-love hath my heart, and I have his.

His heart in me keeps him and me in one,
My heart in him his thoughts and senses guides:
He loves my heart, for once it was his own,
I cherish his because in me it bides:
My true-love hath my heart, and I have his.

for My Love on Our 23rd Anniversary . . .

Sonnet 138
- Wm. Shakespeare

elongated shadow of couple holding hands
When my love swears that she is made of truth
I do believe her, though I know she lies,
That she might think me some untutor'd youth,
Unlearned in the world's false subtleties.
Thus vainly thinking that she thinks me young,
Although she knows my days are past the best,
Simply I credit her false speaking tongue:
On both sides thus is simple truth suppress'd.
But wherefore says she not she is unjust?
And wherefore say not I that I am old?
O, love's best habit is in seeming trust,
And age in love loves not to have years told:
Therefore I lie with her and she with me,
And in our faults by lies we flatter'd be.

ALSO

from: Rabbi Ben Ezra
old hands, two male hands gently holding one female hand

Grow old along with me!
The best is yet to be,
The last of life, for which the first was made:
Our times are in His hand
Who saith, 'A whole I planned,
Youth shows but half; trust God: see all, nor be
       afraid!'

I WOULD LIKE TO SAY HAPPY 10th ANNIVERSARY

And wish them and their family,

many more wonderful, happy,

and ordinary years to come.
