We've been inundated with rain off and on (mostly on) for the past few weeks and we've had freezes the last three nights. Now, besides looking overgrown and abandoned, the garden also looks half dead. I know that this is all actually good, and come spring, the garden will be happier for it. But it's a double edged sword for those of us in drought ravaged CA.
This is Petunia.
Every time I open the back door to let her out she looks at me like the weather is some kind of punishment I'm inflicting on her for no earthly reason. She definitely prefers the summer.
