NATIONAL POETRY MONTH STARTS TODAY

The Academy of American Poets has created this National Poetry Month poster, and distributes it for free to U.S. schools, libraries, bookstores, and community centers to help promote the month-long celebration and to increase poetry awareness.

The 2011 Poster,

features a line from Elizabeth Bishop's poem,
